Library of the Faculty of Management Engineering collects and makes available literature closely related to the fields of study conducted at the Faculty, as well as the conducted scientific research. The subject matter of the collection is quite broad and includes items, e.g. in the field of: management, logistics, transport, production engineering, furniture engineering, finance, accounting, banking, tourism, marketing, advertising, public relations, economics, information systems, statistics, and others.

The collections of the WIZ Library include over 26,000 books, 30 titles of currently subscribed periodicals and over 1,700 volumes of archival periodicals, 131 units of special collections (electronic documents, standards, audiovisual materials).

Most of the collections are made available on the spot in the reading room, some are also borrowed outside (in accordance with the Regulations of Library of BUT).

In the Reading Room, as part of free access, users can use:

  • about 350 books in English,
  • about 7,500 collections arranged according to UDC departments (other collections are made available by the librarian),
  • current and archival issues of scientific and popular science journals.

The reading room has:

  • 25 work places,
  • 6 computer stations with Internet access (1 computer with English menu),
  • access to wireless Internet,
  • Zeta Zeutschel self-service scanner.

There is also a room (in the storage part of Library of the Faculty of Management Engineering) for group work for max. 8 people equipped with computers with Internet access. In the reading room there is a professional workplace dedicated to people with disabilities, created as part of the BUT Accessible program.
