Regulations for sharing electronic resources

  1. The library provides access to digital information resources:
    1. owned by the Library,
    2. not owned by the Library:
      1. for the use of which it has purchased licenses,
      2. for the use of which the consent of the author/s was obtained,
      3. distributed unlicensed..
  2. Access to licensed digital resources is available to users with an active library account.
  3. Digital resources provided by the Library may be used only by users for their own use for scientific and educational purposes.
  4. Additional restrictions on the use of digital resources for specific groups of users may result from license agreements for individual databases.
  5. 6. It is forbidden to use the digital resources made available by the Library systematically and inconsistently with applicable copyright law and license provisions, i.e. reproduction, collection on own media, redistribution or resale.
  6. It is forbidden to make any changes and modifications to the shared digital resources and software. Damages resulting from illegal and licensed and improper use of digital resources or their deliberate destruction are covered by the direct user.
  7. Improper use of digital resources is the basis for deprivation of the right to use these resources.

The condition for obtaining access is having an active account in the ALEPH library system.

REGISTRATION FORM

An application for setting up an account in the computer library system for a user from outside BUT (people who run business in BUT without an employment contract) should be submitted to the General Lending Room of the Main Library of BUT or to the faculty library.
